A tid-bit of Savannah

Last May I took a trip to Savannah Georgia. There was so much to see and take in that I really didn't have time to think about what exactly I was dealing with. The past few months have been so busy with school and everything else that life brings, that I didn't really get a chance to examine the trip either. Well I finally got to look into a section of the trip that has very strong potential. While in Savannah, I visited The Bonaventure Cemetery. There was a lot of history there dating all the way back to The Civil War. Anyway, this painting is of a headstone that grabbed my attention rather quickly. It was the grave of Corinne Elliot Lawton. I plan to do a lot more work on the Cemetery, and the rest of the beautiful city of Savannah.

  1. That's fantastic. Was it from the cemetery? Those statues were all so lovely.
